A replica of Batman’s Batmobile used in the 1989 movie is up on eBay. Its price tag is listed at $620,000. Built by Putsch Racing, this awesome replica is turbine-powered and – amazingly – is street legal.
The Batmobile has 365HP and can reach a top speed of 180 MPH. Because this is built out of a decommissioned military chopper, it reuquires kerosene, Jet A or diesel fuel. So this means you won’t only be worrying about the car’s price tag, but you’ll also have to worry about what you put into the car to run properly.
The Batmobile replica is still up on eBay, eagerly awaiting the best offer on it. Auction is open until September 15.

Got a personal axe to grind with your ex? Well, somewhere in a museum in Zangreb, Croatia sits an axe that an anonymous donor once used to axe an exes’ furniture into sticks and heaps of wood. Yap, I’m not kidding. The Museum of Broken Relationships exists.
Founded by exes Olinka Vistica and Drazen Grubisic, the museum houses several dozen pieces of odds and ends sent from all over. An old Nokia cellphone is a member of their exhibit, and its tag reads, “It lasted 300 days too long. He gave me his mobile phone so I wouldn’t call him anymore.” The exhibits are oddly affecting and varied in their own ways. There’s a lock of hair and a vial of tears, as well as a prosthesis.

According to the founders, donors find the act of donating a piece of a past relationship can be therapeutic and liberating. Well, if you don’t want to give them away, you can always think up creative ways with which to use things like, say, your ex’s wedding dress.

So you’re planning a vacation and you’re looking for an exotic, foreign place to visit where there are sights to be seen and experiences to be had. Before you go anywhere, be sure to do some research first since sometimes, you never know what you’ll find. Veteran traveler Ben Groundwater realized that some things labeled “tourist attraction” in guidebooks and tourist maps may be grossly misleading.
Take the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets in New Delhi for example. If you stopped reading at Museum, you’re probably thinking they show the typical museum fare: a few paintings, a smattering of sculptures, and maybe a few mummies. This particular museum, however, takes on the subject of toilets; name the toilet and they probably have it. Unless you have an unhealthy fixation on plumbing fixtures, you probably won’t visit.
The other tourist attractions on the list include Jeju Love Land in Jeju Island, South Korea (where you would be able to ogle 140 sculptures of various sexual positions and watch sex education films) and Louis Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Blackpool (Madame Tussaud was great in making wax dummies that bear striking resemblances to the real people; Louis Tussaud succeeded in doing the opposite.), among others.
Hmm. These places may be so bad they’re worth visiting after all.

Design freaks will enjoy going through Amanda Wright’s blog, Witandwhistle.com, where she shares her insights on interior design, fashion design and food. She admits to being a “design nerd” who enjoys finding great things to share on her blog and hand-crafting several kinds of art pieces, from bags, to cards to home knick knacks.
One interesting fact about Amanda, though, is that she likes to collect dirt. Yes, you read that right, dirt. She wrote, “Dirt is the perfect memento of an unforgettable vacation. It’s free, easy to find, fits in my suitcase and lets me take a piece of the world home with me.” More importantly, it reminds her of the “full life” she led.
Dirt collection is fairly easy and hassle free. Tiny jars or glass vials are readily available in most arts and crafts stores and dirt is virtually free anywhere you go. Travel enthusiasts might opt for this cheap alternative to collecting souvenirs. Decorate your cupboard with dirt collection, a tiny reminder of the worlds you have explored.
