Lost junkies out there must be gnawing their fingernails to stubs, as the six-season series draws to a close. Fans won’t be disappointed, as ABC announced that the originally planned 2-hour finale is going to be extended by another half hour.
There are loads of mysteries left unsolved so there’s a lot of anticipation riding on that last Lost episode. Is the monster really a cloud of murderous nanobots? Is the plane crash really the pilot episode of a really twisted reality TV show and are the survivors really the unwitting housemates?
One thing’s for sure though, the fan questions, arguments and theories about the show may all be answered, rebutted, and proven/debunked in the span of 150 minutes, but then again, I somehow doubt it.

Apparently, it does. A machine that dispenses items made of gold including gold bars and customized gold coins has been installed in one of the plushest hotels in the world: the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The machine, coated in a thin layer of gold and located beneath the hotel’s gold-coated ceilings, is a creation of German firm, Ex Oriente Lux. The gold dispensed by the machines are all imported from Germany, with the prices of the gold bars and coins based on international market prices. The machine updates its gold prices every 10 minutes.
Because of the unpredictable economy, many consider gold as a worthwhile investment. Ex Oriente Lux couldn’t be so spot on with its new machine. At one point, the gold coins and bars was quoted at $1,236 per ounce. The company plans to make customized gold coins and bars with a print of the Empire Palace Hotel’s logo as a great souvenir for the hotel’s guests. Wow, it would definitely be nice to receive a gold bar as a souvenir, right?
